OCTOBER MARKETPLACE PHOTOS }
October Marketplace was held on Saturday, October
17. It is an annual affair. This year was a huge success. We
had 49 vendors in the gym and A & B meeting rooms. Besides the
vendors, our Quilt Group had a booth which was very successful,
we had a bakery which the Ladies Auxiliary stocked with goodies
from their kitchens, we baked approximately 125 pies, apple,
cherry, pumpkin and mixed berry. Our luncheon was outstanding
with baked potato soup, quiche, chili, baked potatoes and hot
dogs and for dessert, cupcakes, pie a la mode and brownies.
The best part was the community effort that went into this. Our
money is utilized for the needs of the church and to help keep
the pantry stocked for all of the events held at Holy Spirit
Catholic Church. Maybe we will see you next year.
