High School Youth

Youth in high school have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive program.  They have the option to participate in lock-ins, retreats, social events, nights on the town, prayer nights, open gyms, and much more. Furthermore, high school youth are encouraged to participate with the parish in diocesan and national events. Life Nights are the basic formation program for high school youth. Led by volunteers/parents, Life Nights are held approximately twice each month during the school year.

CONFIRMATION
A new policy has been established for preparation of young people for the sacrament of Confirmation. A summary of this policy, which will be implemented at Holy Spirit in the fall of 2010, may be found here.

An important part of the policy is that young people asking to enter the confirmation program are expected to be attending mass weekly and to be active in our parish youth programming. Watch the bulletin each week for information about these important and fun youth gatherings, called "Life Nights."

Confirmation 2010 groups will continue to meet as their calendar indicates and are encouraged to attend the Life Nights as well.
