Ann Hayles
Ann Hayles came to Holy Spirit in 1999 with
12 years of professional church work at Our Lady of the Presentation
Parish in Lee's Summit, where she was the Director of Religious
Education. Prior to that, Ann was a very active volunteer catechist at
Coronation of Our Lady Parish in Grandview, Missouri. All told, Ann has
over 30 years of experience in catechetics. |
With an undergraduate degree in Elementary
and Special Education from Avila Colleg (now Avila University), Ann
earned her Master's Degree in Religious Education from Loyola University
of New Orleans through their Extension Courses offered by our Diocese.
Ann grew up in Catholic churches and
schools, mostly on the East Coast, where her father was a naval officer.
She is the oldest of seven siblings. |
Ann and her husband, Don, have four children
and two grandchildren. |
What she enjoys most in her current ministry
is the warmth and vitality of the parishioners here at Holy Spirit. She
especially loves working with the RCIA, sharing her love of the Church
with others. |
